Open House Scheduled at Waverly Healthy Lifestyles Center

Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging is changing the name of our Senior Centers to Healthy Lifestyles Centers.  The new name better reflects the people served at these centers as well as the services offered.  Healthy Lifestyles Centers offer nutritious meals, wellness activities, nutrition and health promotion programs, social activities, and access and referrals to general aging information and supportive programs.

To kick off our new name of our centers, Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging is hosting an open house. Community members are encouraged to stop in, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about what is available. Open house details are as follows:

Waverly Healthy Lifestyle Center
506 E. Bremer in Waverly
Thursday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. 
A meal will be served at 11:30 a.m.  For meal reservations call 319-352-2463.
